Since moving to North Carolina in 2010 from Southern California, Kristen Noel Skelton has immersed herself in the culinary craft and the Asheville food scene. In 2018, Kristen helped open AUX Bar and worked closely under Chef Steven Goff, whilst aiding in many Blind Pig events throughout her tenure. Kristen went on to explore wood fire cooking under Chef Michelle Bailey’s instruction at Smoky Park Supper Club before landing with the Avenue M team. She is a proud graduate of the AB Tech Culinary Arts Program and continues her culinary journey through experimentation and preparing elaborate dinners with her husband, Eric, and friends.
