Nestled down-mountain from the Grove Park Inn, Avenue M is a place where locals and visitors mix. And while we have one of Asheville's best wine lists and a creative food menu that changes frequently, we also have WiFi for your kid's Nintendo Switch and a bowl of fresh water for your canine companion.
Since 2010, Avenue M has been a place for people of all walks of life to eat, drink, and gather. We look forward to serving you in Uptown Asheville.

Over the coming weeks we will be welcoming a new culinary team into our kitchen. While we work together to retool and train our new team members, we will be offering a modified food menu. This menu begins March 28th and will last until our new menu debuts. Our space will be open during our normal hours of operation for drinks, snacks, and light fare. During this time we won't be offering reservations, but will be open for private events and walk-ins.
We encourage you to stop in for a bite and drink with an old friend, or to visit with us when you need to see a friendly face. This neighborhood spot has been a gathering place for locals and visitors for 21 years. It will continue to be as we make some changes along the way.
